SM Fine Art Gallery is proud to present Robert Indiana HOPE Around the World Project in Asia.
Robert Indiana, born in 1928, is a figurehead of the American pop art movement uses distinctive imagery consisting of bold, simple, iconic metaphors, especially numbers and short words. Indiana's iconic work of the 20th century, LOVE was first created for a Christmas card for the Museum of Modern Art in 1964. In 2008, Indiana created an image similar, but this time showcasing the word "HOPE", "Love's closest relative."
Robert Indiana wishes to install his another iconic sculpture HOPE in all around the world. SM Fine Art Gallery, as the Asian distributor gallery for Indiana HOPE, would like other Asian participants to join this event as to install HOPE sculptures every region in Asia.
